Writing Portfolio guidelines

Writing portfolio 1 LSC 1103 10%

This needs to be maintained throughout the course and should contain:

1. *A cover page with your name, ID, section and teacher + a contents page

2. *The LSC 1103 course outline or calender (downloaded from the website)

3. All handouts from the teacher regarding summaries and other coursework issues (e.g. plagiarism and using APA)

4. *All practice summaries (at least 3!) with teacher’s comments

5. *A copy of the marking criteria ( download from the website)

6. *The 2 graded summaries

7. ** A reflective statement on summary writing

Writing portfolio 2 LSC 1103 10%

This should contain every thing from writing portfolio 1 plus

1. *A copy of the assessments for the Individual Assignment and the Final Project
2. *All hand-written notes and drafts from the Individual Assignment plus teacher’s comments
3. A copy of the marking criteria for the Individual Assignment (download)
4. *All hand-written notes and drafts for the Final Assessment
5. A copy of the marking criteria for the Final Assessment
6. **Reflective statements on the Individual Assignment and the Final Project
